Father's Day Coffee Beer and Smash Burger

Braun took a trip down to the Beer Mountain (aka Asheville NC). While he had many new beers and breweries to tell tall tales of, one recurring theme was coffee-Belgian-triples! Now I’ve had many coffee stouts, and they’re delicious! Founder’s Breakfast Stout is high on the list. But triples with coffee? That’s something new. Coffee BeerTim is the coffee roasting mad genius of the group. He has the roaster, the super slickthermonucleardynamicwarhead hand grinder, the fancy brewers. He and his wife even grow coffee plants in the house. So we did some taste testing of the latest roast and started planning our own Belgian triple with coffee. Get Yourself Some Grill Grates for Father’s Day and Sear Some Smash Burgers Aw, Father’s Day. Doesn’t it sometimes seem like our loved ones are trying to give us the worst possible gifts? We have a solution for you. Have you tried Grill Grates yet? Tim’s got a couple of sets now, and they really do put a nice sear on your meat. Just tonight he cooked up some smash burgers with the Grill Grates flipped upside down, and they look pretty darn good! Brew 2 With 2x the MineralsWe brewed the other week. Two batches of very similar low abv hazy IPA’s. One had a little bit of extra water treatment than the other (like double the minerals) which made for an interesting mouthfeel…very slick. Taste was good none the less! Get Brewin! Volume 24 Issue #1 The Weekly Paddle Episode 1 It’s been a long, long while, I know. I get momentum and then get overwhelmed with life stuff. I’ll try to do better and be more consistent with these newsletters. I do appreciate the growth we’re seeing on all the social media channels, and I hope we can do the same with this.
