Last of the snow seems to be melting as we come up on the close of February, Spring is on it’s way. 60’s here in Central PA next week! That’s BBQ weather!!!

So Many Mullets!

It’s been a long time coming, but Jaromir Jagr has finally hung up the skates on his professional hockey career—and our own Tim the Baddest Smoker in the West Shore was there to cover it!!!

Back to back championships with the Pens in ’91-’92 and finishing 4th all time in goals scored and 2nd in points, Jagr has had an amazing career. I was fortunate to catch a game in the old Igloo when Jagr (Pens) faced Gretsky (Kings) and the good guys came out on top. There is some great coverage on the Pens official site including Jagr’s speech, how Jagr kinda stacked the deck in the draft so he would fall to the Pens to play with Super Mario, and the story behind how he gave Mike Lang the phrase “smoked him like a cheap cigar” Cheers to you Jagr!!!

T&F Farmer’s Pride

While Timmy was out West, Braun was on the Eastern side of the state caravaning the girls soccer games. He came up T&F Farmer’s Pride and landed an AMAZING hoagie!

Best he’s ever had he says! Hot gabagool, hot sppresata, cteghino, sharp provi, fried long hots, olive oil/vinegar on a Philly seeded roll. The hinge is solid, the meat, cheese and veggies all in place, and packed full of flavors and textures. Legit enough to make the Hoagie Gurus proud!

Domino’s Cheesy Volcano Pizza

Domino’s, who I’m sure you know does not have the BEST pizza, has released something incredible! The Cheesy Volcano Pizza! I still would love to try it. The problem, other than It’s sure to disappoint, is that it’s only available in Japan:

Beer Collab Coming Soon!!!!

Living in Central Pa, of course we are huge fans of local fav’s Troegs. The Trogner brothers started out as a small regional brewery in Harrisburg but have grown there distribution to 10 states. The brewery is now in a pretty awesome location in Hershey PA, and if you’re ever in town it’s must-see. Dewey Beer Co started as a tiny little micro (or is it nano?) brewery in Dewey Beach Delaware, that put out some amazing quality IPA’s and some really creative pseudo beer styles. We have two long-time friends that work in professional breweries: Gar (Dewey Beer) and Fife (Troegs). So we got the alert that Dewey brewers were up in Hershey…. But what does this mean? The collab is confirmed by both breweries, but no one has spilled the beans on what they’re making yet. Stay Tuned!
